Job Title Social Science Teacher Department Academics Location Narayana Etechno School - Thiruvannamalai Grade Levels Primary Grade 3 to 5 Employment Type Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Science Teacher to deliver engaging and effective instruction as per the CBSE curriculum The teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing lessons in History Geography Civics and Economics fostering critical thinking and cultivating a strong understanding of social and civic responsibilities among students Key Responsibilities Deliver lessons as per the CBSE curriculum for classes 3-5 Develop lesson plans assessments and teaching materials aligned with CBSE guidelines and learning objectives Use innovative teaching strategies to engage students in classroom discussions activities and projects Evaluate students academic progress through regular tests assignments and examinations Prepare students for CBSE board examinations with practice tests and revision sessions Maintain student records including grades behavior and attendance Create a positive and inclusive learning setting Coordinate with other subject teachers and participate in interdisciplinary teaching where applicable Engage in school events parent-teacher meetings and staff development programs Keep up-to-date with changes in the CBSE syllabus and teaching practices Ensure timely completion of syllabus and remedial sessions as needed Qualifications and Requirements Educational Qualification Bachelor s Master s degree in History Geography Political Science or related fields Teaching Qualification B Ed Bachelor of Education - Mandatory Experience Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching Social Science in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred Proficiency in English excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong classroom management and organizational skills Familiarity with digital teaching tools e g smart boards Google Classroom MS Teams is a plus Preferred Attributes Passionate about teaching and student development Patient empathetic and able to handle diverse learning needs Team player with a collaborative mindset Commitment to continuous professional development Job Type Full time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
