About the Role

SOS – School of Skills is looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to build and grow our digital presence across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, content creation, community engagement, and brand building, with the ability to develop content that drives awareness, engagement, and student enrollments.

This role requires someone who understands social media trends, audience behavior, and platform-specific strategies while maintaining a strong brand voice across all digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the organization's marketing and admissions goals.
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other relevant platforms.
- Create content calendars and ensure timely execution of campaigns.
- Write compelling captions, scripts, and social media copy tailored to each platform.
- Collaborate with the design, video production, and marketing teams to create high-quality visual content.
- Manage and grow online communities by responding to comments, messages, and audience interactions in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and emerging platform features to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Track key performance metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversions, and prepare regular performance reports.
- Work closely with the Performance Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to support integrated marketing campaigns.
- Ensure brand consistency across all social media channels.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing,



Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Social Media Marketing or Content Marketing.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the EdTech, education, or training industry.
- Experience using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO, paid social campaigns, and influencer collaborations.
- Experience with short-form video content, including Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Familiarity with AI-powered content creation and social media management tools.
