Vedanta Public School is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to build and manage our online presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate should be passionate about storytelling, content creation, photography/videography, and digital marketing, with the ability to showcase school events, achievements, and daily activities in an engaging and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the school’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).

- Plan, create, and publish engaging posts, reels, stories, and videos.

- Capture high-quality photos and videos during school events and daily activities.

- Design graphics, posters, and promotional creatives using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

- Write compelling captions and maintain a consistent brand voice.

- Develop and execute monthly content calendars.

- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow the school’s online community.

- Collaborate with management and staff to highlight student achievements, events, admissions, and special initiatives.

- Track social media performance and submit monthly analytics reports.

- Stay updated with the latest social media trends and implement creative ideas.





Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, or a related field (preferred).

- 1–3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.

- Strong photography and videography skills.

- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar editing tools.

- Excellent written and spoken English.

- Creative mindset with attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience running social media campaigns.

- Basic knowledge of Meta Ads and social media analytics.

- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation is an advantage.

- Experience in the education sector is preferred but not mandatory.
