We're Hiring: Social Media Manager

We're looking for a tennis-obsessed, creative, proactive Social Media Manager to join our team at the Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy. If you live for tennis, understand social media inside out, and thrive in fast-paced event environments, this role is for you.

Role Description The Social Media Manager will manage RBTA’s presence across key social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engagement with current and prospective students, parents, and tennis enthusiasts. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing social media campaigns, creating and scheduling content, monitoring performance metrics, and optimizing posts for reach and interaction. The role involves close collaboration with coaching staff and academy management to capture on-court activities, events, and success stories, and to translate them into engaging digital content.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular coordination with academy operations and occasional support during tournaments, camps, and special events.

What you'll work on

- Managing social media for Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy
- Planning and executing content calendars, campaign rollouts,



event announcements, and partner deliverables
- Conceptualising and executing engaging content across reels, static posts and trends
- Community Management and driving audience growth, engagement, and overall page presence across social media platforms
- Supporting on-ground coverage and live content execution during tournaments and events and Reporting & Analytics related to social media

What we're looking for:
- 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation
- Excellent Writing and Communication abilities for creating clear, engaging, and brand-consistent posts, captions, and messages.
- Robust understanding of Instagram, content trends, and internet culture
- A genuine interest in tennis and fitness, paired with strong communication, coordination, and execution skills
- A self-starter who takes ownership and thinks creatively

Preferred:
- Basic Canva editing skills and video editing skills
- Comfortable working on-ground during events when required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
