We are seeking a Trainee - Social Impact Team to be based in our Bengaluru office. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about the social sector and eager to learn.

Summary The trainee will primarily support the day-to-day operations of the Social Impact team through research, documentation, reporting, coordination with nonprofit partners, and administrative support, while gaining practical exposure to philanthropy, CSR initiatives, grant management, employee volunteering, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities • Support MSI's Senior Manager of Social Impact in executing and coordinating MSI's Social Impact initiatives in both the US and India.

- Assist in maintaining project documentation, grant records, and partner databases.
- Conduct research on nonprofit organizations, government schemes, public policies, and social sector trends.
- Support the review of grant proposals and assist in compiling due diligence documentation.
- Coordinate with nonprofit partners to collect reports, project updates, financial documents, and other required information.
- Prepare presentations, project summaries, meeting notes, and internal reports.
- Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual impact reports.




- Maintain project trackers and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables from partner organizations.
- Assist in planning meetings, workshops, webinars, and field visits.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for the Social Impact team.
- Accompany the team on field visits, when required, to gain exposure to project implementation and monitoring.
- Perform additional duties as required and/or requested.

Candidate

Profile • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Development Studies, Public Health, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant internship or work experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong research, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with the ability to prepare structured reports and presentations.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply current technologies with the ability to understand basic data quality principles and practices.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
- Must be based in Bengaluru and willing to travel for field visits when required.
