Key Responsibilities

- Perform independent initial alert triage and conduct preliminary investigations to determine the severity and potential impact of security incidents before escalation.

- Analyze security alerts using relevant Threat Intelligence (TI) context, including Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), threat actor profiles, and attack patterns.

- Support incident response activities by applying a foundational understanding of the Incident Response lifecycle, Cyber Kill Chain, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

- Assist in identifying, investigating, and escalating potential security incidents while maintaining accurate documentation.

- Apply analytical thinking and an investigative approach to identify anomalies and validate findings beyond standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Collaborate with senior analysts and cross-functional teams during security investigations and incident handling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Ability to independently perform basic security alert triage and preliminary investigations prior to escalation.

- Working knowledge of Threat Intelligence concepts, including Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), threat actor profiling, and contextual threat analysis.

- Foundational understanding of the Incident Response lifecycle, Cyber Kill Chain, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).





- Conceptual understanding of at least one cybersecurity domain: Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence, or Incident Response.

- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewall concepts, and packet flow, with the ability to apply these concepts during log analysis and alert triage.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving threats rather than relying solely on predefined procedures.

Preferred Skills

- Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating system internals, including processes, file systems, event logs, user management, and system behavior, to support security investigations and anomaly detection.

- Exposure to Security Operations Center (SOC) environments, SIEM platforms, EDR tools, or security monitoring technologies is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
