SMT Training Executive – Roles & Responsibilities

? Develop and deliver training programs for SMT (Surface Mount Technology) operators, technicians, and production staff.

? Conduct onboarding and skill-development training on SMT processes, including solder paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place operations, reflow soldering, AOI, and related equipment.

? Prepare training materials, SOPs, work instructions, presentations, and competency assessment documents.

? Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, practical demonstrations, and performance monitoring.

? Identify skill gaps and create improvement plans to enhance operator productivity and quality awareness.

? Ensure employees are trained on ESD, safety standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing best practices.

? Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to align training objectives with operational needs.

? Maintain training records, skill matrices, certification status,



and compliance documentation.

? Support process improvement initiatives by providing technical training on lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and quality tools.

? Monitor and report training KPIs, employee competency levels, and certification progress.

? Facilitate cross-training programs to improve workforce flexibility and operational efficiency.

? Stay updated with recent SMT technologies, equipment, and industry standards to continuously enhance training content.

Qualification and Experience BE or BTech 4 to 8 Years of Experience
