Role Description The SME Math role is a full-time, on-site position based at The Prodigies International School in Bengaluru South.

The Subject Matter

Expert will design and refine mathematics curriculum and learning materials aligned with CBSE standards and the school’s integrated program. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons, preparing instructional content, supporting classroom teaching, and collaborating with teachers to ensure conceptual clarity for learners. The role involves reviewing assessments, providing academic guidance,



and integrating innovative teaching strategies and learning resources.

The SME Math will also participate in training sessions, academic meetings, and periodic curriculum reviews to maintain high standards of math education. Qualifications

Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to explain concepts across grade levels.

Experience in Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning, preferably aligned with CBSE or similar national curricula.

Effective Communication skills for working with learners, educators, and academic leadership.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.

Prior experience as a math teacher, academic coordinator, or subject matter expert in school or K–12 settings.

Ability to use educational technology tools to create and deliver engaging math content.

Demonstrated commitment to learner-centric teaching, inclusivity, and continuous professional development.

Experience

1–3 years of teaching experience.
