Position overview
As part of our continued expansion, we are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee our North East sites. With responsibility for daily site operations, you will help ensure the project is delivered safely on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
This will include:>
Ensuring All Operatives And Subcontractors Are:
- Properly inducted onto Site
- Issued with and use the correct PPE and work in a safe manner
- Competent and have the necessary qualifications to carry out works to the highest quality standards
Observing and maintaining all Health and Safety and Environmental Management standards
Establishing standards of Quality on Site and ensuring delivery of build in accordance with project specifications and requirements
Delivering works in the most economic manner to reduce waste and avoid non recoverable costs
Understanding clients’ priorities and adopting a professional and considerate approach ensuring excellent working relationships are maintained.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Applicants should possess previous experience of ‘hands on’ management and delivery of Construction/Civil engineering projects. You will possess a ‘can do’ attitude coupled with the ability to challenge the status quo and make things happen. CSCS card is essential with SSSTS/SMSTS accreditation being an advantage.
Driving
Licence essential.
