Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jharsuguda. This position is responsible for overseeing daily civil works at the project site, including monitoring construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications, and coordinating with contractors and supervisors. The role involves checking levels and layouts, inspecting materials and workmanship, maintaining site documentation, and reporting progress and issues to project management.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and practical experience applying civil engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and related software for reviewing and interpreting project drawings.
- Experience working in teams of Civil Engineers and coordinating with multidisciplinary site personnel.
- Skills in Planning and scheduling site activities, resources, and milestones.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related drainage, grading, and utility design considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Prior on-site construction or infrastructure project experience, preferably in similar environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with attention to safety and quality.
- Willingness to work full time on-site in Jharsuguda and adapt to changing project needs.
