Siebel Data Migration Consultant / Lead

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Siebel Data Migration Consultant/Lead with strong Telecom domain expertise to drive end-to-end data migration activities for large-scale Oracle Siebel implementations. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM), data migration strategy, legacy system analysis, data mapping, ETL processes, and stakeholder management. The candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, development, execution, and governance of data migration activities while ensuring data quality, integrity, and successful migration into the Siebel CRM environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage end-to-end Siebel Data Migration activities across project lifecycles.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into data migration solutions.
- Understand source legacy systems and define data migration strategies.
- Perform data analysis, profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities.
- Design and execute Siebel EIM processes including :
- Data Import
- Data Export
- Data Delete
- Data Merge
- Develop and maintain mapping documents between source and target systems.
- Identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with business users, solution architects, application designers, and technical teams to define migration requirements.
- Prepare and review migration plans, migration run books, and deployment strategies.
- Monitor migration execution and troubleshoot migration-related issues.
- Ensure data integrity, completeness, reconciliation,



and validation throughout migration cycles.
- Conduct mock migrations, trial runs, and production cutover activities.
- Support SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production deployments.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and governance processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development and migration teams.

Mandatory Skills :

Siebel CRM :

- Strong experience in Oracle Siebel CRM.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Siebel EIM.
- Deep understanding of Siebel architecture and data model.
- Strong knowledge of Siebel data flow and integration processes.
- Experience in data migration projects involving large data volumes.

- Expertise in migration strategy and execution planning.
- Experience creating mapping specifications and migration documentation.

Database Skills :

- Strong SQL skills.
- Hands-on experience with PL/SQL development.
- Expertise in query optimization and data analysis.
- Experience working with Oracle databases.

ETL Tools :

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools.




- Valuable knowledge of IBM DataStage.
- Experience with data transformation and migration workflows.

5.

Telecom Domain :

- Mandatory experience in Telecom domain projects.
- Understanding of telecom customer lifecycle management processes.
- Exposure to telecom CRM and customer data migration initiatives.

Stakeholder Management :

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and validate business requirements.
- Coordinate with solution architects, technical architects, developers, testing teams, and project managers.
- Present migration status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
- Support client discussions and provide migration-related recommendations.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 5-14 years of overall IT experience.
- Relevant experience in Siebel Data Migration projects.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale migration programs.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Telecom CRM transformation programs.
- Oracle Siebel certifications.
- Experience with multiple full-cycle Siebel implementation or migration projects.
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
