Job Title: ServiceNow ITAM Architect

Location: Bangalore/Gurgaon

- The ServiceNow ITAM Architect is responsible for designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions that enable organizations to optimise software and hardware assets, improve governance, ensure compliance, and maximise the value of technology investments.

- This role serves as the technical authority for ServiceNow ITAM, providing strategic guidance across Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Procurement, Contract Management, and asset lifecycle management.

- Working closely with customers, business stakeholders, project teams, and delivery consultants, the architect defines scalable platform architectures, integration strategies, and best practices while supporting pre-sales initiatives and driving successful digital transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise ServiceNow ITAM solutions across Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Procurement, and Contract Management.

- Define architecture standards, governance models, and integration strategies to support end-to-end IT asset lifecycle management.

- Lead customer discovery workshops, solution design sessions, architecture reviews, and executive presentations.





- Develop scalable ServiceNow architectures aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.

- Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure successful delivery of integrations, CMDB alignment, data migration, and platform configuration.

- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to ServiceNow consultants and developers.

- Establish best practices for ServiceNow platform development, data quality, security, and governance.

- Support pre-sales activities including solution design, effort estimation, proposal development, and customer demonstrations.

- Ensure alignment with Common Service Data Model (CSDM), CMDB, Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE), and enterprise integration standards.

- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance asset visibility, compliance, procurement governance, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills &

- Experience

- Extensive experience designing and implementing ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions in enterprise environments.

- Strong expertise in Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Procurement, Contract Management, and IT asset lifecycle processes.

- Deep understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE), Discovery, and Asset Management modules.

- Experience with ServiceNow data management, Import Sets, Transform Maps, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and external system integrations.





- Working knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow platform development concepts.

- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, governance, and solution design.

- Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

- Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring technical professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM).

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Hardware Asset Management (CIS-HAM).

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is advantageous.

- Experience delivering large-scale ServiceNow transformation programmes across global organisations.
