Overview

Global Enterprise Organization seeks a fulltime ServiceNow Administrator to join our exciting team. The Administrator will be responsible for providing continuous service improvements and it is essential for you to have a deep understanding of ServiceNow CMDB platform and working knowledge of other modules such as Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.

Your responsibilities will include hands-on technical expertise to support CMDB initiatives, and working closely with architects, developers, platform owners, and service teams to deliver configuration data across the organization.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all CI classes

Maintain CI relationships and dependency mappings to support Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Mapping use cases Handle daily ServiceNow support for areas of Infrastructure. Administer and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all CI classes Collaborate with ITOM, ITSM, cloud, and infrastructure teams to onboard new CI types and discovery sources.

Support audits, compliance, and risk initiatives by ensuring CMDB data aligns with required controls and evidence needs.

Monitor, analyze, and report on CMDB health metrics (e.g., completeness, correctness, compliance) and lead remediation efforts where gaps are identified.

Responsible for CMBD support and participate in platform upgrades, patches, and CMDB-related testing and validation activities

Create and maintain process and knowledge documentation for CMDB





Identify and implement continuous improvements to CMDB processes, automation, and data consumption.

Qualifications

Requirements

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent degree/experience.

3-5 years of IT administration At least 2–4+ years of hands-on experience administering ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery.

Demonstrate understanding of complex problem-solving techniques dealing with infrastructure support.

Experience supporting Incident, Request, Problem, and Change processes that rely on CMDB data

Strong hands-on expertise with ServiceNow CMDB, including CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, and normalization.

Other Skills

Industry recognized certifications (ServiceNow Admin certifications)

Reasonable level of experience with automation and/or scripting A strong desire to make a difference.

Able to set objectives, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast moving business Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Has broad perspective and understanding of business and trends in the market place; is current on business and industry trends.

Has a holistic approach to business; understands his/her own area of expertise and how it applies to the good of the group/business.

An understanding of general infrastructure administration support

Experience with some of the following areas / concepts: Windows Server and Linux operating systems Active Directory (maintenance, group policy, permissions) VM server creation

Data center operations Shift Timings - 7PM IST To 4PM IST
