We are seeking a Japanese Language Service Desk Support Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in providing IT service desk support for Japanese clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong Japanese language proficiency, experience in customer communication, and knowledge of IT service management processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to resolve Application and Infrastructure-related issues.
- Participate in Major Incident Management activities for critical production issues.
- Collaborate effectively with customer stakeholders and internal IT L2 support teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Provide Japanese language support for client communications, including interpretation and translation activities.
- Translate technical documents, emails,



and support communications from Japanese to English and English to Japanese with high accuracy.
- Deliver excellent customer support while maintaining service quality and adherence to SLA commitments.
- Utilize ServiceNow for incident, request, and service management activities.

Required Skills

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Japanese client communication and translation support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese.
- Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or N3 certification is mandatory.
- Robust understanding of IT terminology in both Japanese and English.
- Proficiency in Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese translation.
- Hands-on experience in Service Desk Support and ServiceNow.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional support teams.

Good to Have

- Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management best practices.
