Job Summary

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cloud consumption, cost trends, anomalies, and budget deviations across cloud services.rn• Prepare and publish cloud cost reports, dashboards, variance analysis, and optimization summaries for stakeholders.rn• Analyze cloud billing data and usage patterns to identify rightsizing, reservation, savings plan, storage optimization, and idle resource cleanup opportunities.rn• Support implementation of tagging, cost allocation, chargeback/showback, and governance policies to improve cloud spend accountability.rn• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, DevOps, and finance teams to validate usage, investigate spend spikes, and track optimization actions to closure.rn• Assist in cloud budget planning, forecasting, accrual inputs, and monthly financial reconciliation activities.rn• Maintain optimization trackers, action logs, savings realization reports, and evidence for management reviews.rn• Support cloud cost alerts, threshold monitoring, and escalation of abnormal spend patterns as per defined process.rn• Provide L2 support for FinOps operational queries, billing disputes, cost center mapping, subscription/account reviews, and reporting clarifications.rn• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and standard operating procedures for FinOps operations.rn The Sr. AWS Support Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of AWS platforms by providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and conducting thorough root cause analyses. This position is integral to maintaining high customer satisfaction levels and operational efficiency through proactive solutions and collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum 3–5 years of overall IT experience, with at least 1–2 years of experience in cloud operations, cloud billing, FinOps, cost optimization,



or infrastructure support.rn• Experience working in a multi-cloud or enterprise cloud environment is preferred.rn• Ability to work independently on L2 operational activities and coordinate with L3/SME teams for complex cost or architecture-related queries.rn• Exposure to ITSM tools and processes such as incident, request, change, and problem management is desirable.rn• FinOps Certified Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent cloud certification will be an added advantage.rn• Strong documentation skills for preparing SOPs, reports, action trackers, and executive summaries.rn• Willingness to support extended hours during month-end closure, financial reviews, critical billing issues, or major optimization initiatives.rn 1.

Provide Advanced Technical Support By Utilizing

Aws Paas And Terraform To Resolve Complex Incidents, Conduct Root Cause Analysis, And Implement Effective Solutions For Technical And Security-Related Issues.

1. Adhere To Quality Standards And Regulatory Requirements, Ensuring Compliance With Company Policies While Managing And Resolving Complex Support Tickets Within Agreed Slas.
2. Develop And Maintain A Knowledge Base By Documenting Solutions And Best Practices, Alongside Training And Coaching Analysts To Enhance Team Capabilities And Performance.
3. Collaborate With Other Support Teams To Ensure Seamless Operations And Uphold A Robust Security Posture Across Aws Environments, Leveraging Infrastructure As Code (Iac) Principles Using Terraform.
4. Enhance Customer Experience By Achieving High First Call Resolution Rates, Minimizing Case Reopens, And Proactively Mitigating Security Threats To Maintain Positive Csat Scores.

Skill Requirements Good understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, with working knowledge of cloud billing and consumption models.rn• Hands-on experience with cloud cost management tools such as Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, GCP Billing, CloudHealth, Cloudability, or similar tools.rn• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret billing data, usage trends, cost anomalies,



and savings opportunities.rn• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting/dashboarding tools.rn• Basic understanding of infrastructure services including compute, storage, network, databases, backup, monitoring, containers, and licensing cost components.rn• Knowledge of tagging standards, cost allocation models, budgets, alerts, reservations, savings plans, and rightsizing concepts.rn• Ability to work with large data sets and perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and month-end reporting.rn• Good communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with technical, finance, and business teams.rn• Basic scripting or automation knowledge using PowerShell, Python, SQL, or cloud-native automation tools is preferred.rn• Understanding of FinOps principles, cloud governance, and operational process management.rn 1.

Proficient In Aws Paas And Terraform

With A Solid Understanding Of Infrastructure As Code (Iac) Methodologies.

1. Solid Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Conduct Root Cause Analysis For Complex Technical Issues.

Other Requirements The Cloud FinOps L2 role is responsible for supporting cloud cost visibility, optimization, governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination across cloud platforms. The role works closely with cloud engineering, operations, finance, and business teams to analyze consumption trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, support forecasting activities, and ensure cloud spend is aligned with business value and operational needs. 1.
