Job Title: Senior Academic Counselor Industry: EdTech Company: Catalyst Education Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Academic Counselor to guide prospective students in making informed educational and career decisions. The role involves counseling, lead conversion, and building strong relationships with students while ensuring a seamless adm ission experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents on academic programs, career paths, and course selection.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings.
- Understand student needs and recommend suitable courses accordingly.
- Drive enrollments by achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM systems.
- Conduct webinars, seminars, and career guidance sessions when required.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, faculty) for smooth onboarding.
- Build long-term relationships with students for referrals and repeat engagement.
Required Skills &
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
- 2–5+ years of experience in academic counseling, sales, or EdTech.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Good knowledge of education systems, courses, and career options.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
