Job Summary The Warehouse Solution Designer is responsible for developing cutting-edge, efficient, and cost-effective warehouse solutions for clients. This role involves analyzing customer requirements, designing warehouse layouts and operational processes, optimizing storage and material flow, evaluating automation opportunities, and preparing technical and commercial solution proposals. The ideal candidate combines operational warehouse expertise with analytical, engineering, and customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:-

Analyse customer business requirements, operational data, and logistics challenges.

Design warehouse layouts, storage systems, and material flow processes.

Develop end-to-end warehousing solutions for new and existing customers.

Prepare solution concepts, process maps, and warehouse operating models.

Conduct warehouse capacity planning, slotting analysis, and resource planning.

Perform operational simulations to determine staffing, equipment, and storage requirements.

Evaluate warehouse automation technologies including conveyors, ASRS, sortation systems, AMRs, AGVs, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Develop productivity models, cost estimates, and financial business cases.

Prepare technical proposals, solution presentations, and RFQ/RFP responses.

Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Engineering, IT, Procurement, and Project Management teams.

Support customer meetings, site surveys, and solution workshops.

Identify process improvement opportunities using Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.

Ensure proposed solutions meet safety, compliance, and operational standards.

Support implementation teams during solution deployment and operational go-live.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management,



Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.

5–10 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain consulting, or logistics solution design.

Experience designing multi-client or dedicated warehouse solutions.

Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.

Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Experience with AutoCAD or warehouse layout design software is preferred.

Knowledge of automation technologies and warehouse equipment is an advantage.
