Role Overview :

The Senior Technical Business Analyst is responsible for transforming approved product requirements into detailed technical specifications for engineering and QA teams. The role owns requirements engineeringnot product discoveryand collaborates closely with Product Management, UX/UI, Engineering, QA, AI and DevOps throughout the SDLC.

Experience :

- 5 - 8 years as a Technical Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
- Experience in SaaS, HealthTech or regulated digital products preferred.
- Robust Agile delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Convert approved Product Requirements into Epics, Features, User Stories, Functional Requirements and Technical Specifications.
- Write detailed Acceptance Criteria using Gherkin/Cucumber (BDD).
- Document REST APIs, JSON payloads, field mappings, business rules and integration specifications.
- Create BPMN, UML, workflow diagrams, process maps and wireframe annotations.
- Analyse SQL data, validate datasets and support troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI, Architects, Developers, QA and DevOps.
- Support Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, UAT and Release Planning.
- Understand healthcare workflows including appointments, telehealth, patient records, NDIS, aged care, billing and compliance.
- Ensure requirements consider privacy,



interoperability, audit and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability between requirements, development and testing.

Required Skills :

- Advanced requirements engineering and business analysis.
- Gherkin/Cucumber, User Stories, Epics and Acceptance Criteria.
- SQL, REST APIs, JSON, System Integrations.
- BPMN, UML, Process Modelling.
- Object-Oriented Design principles.
- Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro and Figma.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Preferred Skills :

- HealthTech, EMR/EHR, Telehealth, NDIS or Aged Care experience.
- HL7, FHIR, HIPAA principles, Australian Privacy Act, ISO 27001 awareness.
- OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman, OAuth/OpenID, Cloud Platforms and AI integrations.

Education &

Certifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Informatics or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PSPO, CSPO, SAFe or equivalent certifications highly desirable.

First 90-Day Deliverables :

- Understand SEWB platform architecture and business domain.
- Produce high-quality technical requirements for assigned modules.
- Deliver Gherkin/Cucumber specifications ready for development.
- Prepare API and integration documentation.
- Support at least one successful production release.
