Position Description: As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications and infrastructure within an Azure DevOps environment. You will work closely with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery and deployment processes.

Essential Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Technical Qualifications: Azure DevOps

Experience: 5 – 7 years of experience

Organization Structure: Infrastructure Engineer

Work Schedule: Ability to work versatile schedule during evening and late evening shift. On demand weekend activities.

Leveraging Azure Bicep and ARM to create automation scripts for implementation and configuration of Azure resources.

Azure DevOps Using Azure DevOps for storing the codes and scripts in the repos, configuring pipelines.

Developing and maintaining the Azure infrastructure





Developing and maintaining the infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource

Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, and PowerShell to define, deploy, and manage the infrastructure.

Configuring and monitoring the Azure infrastructure

Configure and monitor the infrastructure to ensure that it is running efficiently and securely. This includes setting up monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to issues and conducting regular security audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilities using Azure policies.

Managing Azure services Able to determine which services to use for different scenarios and manage them effectively.

Automating repetitive tasks Automating repetitive tasks, such as scaling the infrastructure, using scripting language such as PowerShell. This helps to save time and reduce errors.

Designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

Designing and implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to automate the Azure resources provisioning.

Managing source code Managing source code using Git. Ensuring that the code is properly versioned and organized for easy collaboration among the team.

Monitoring and maintaining system health

Monitoring the health of the system and responding to alerts and issues as they arise. Maintaining system backups.
