: Senior Manager, Supply Chain

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-oriented Senior Manager – Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain, warehouse, and fulfilment operations for a fast-growing D2C consumer brand. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across procurement planning, warehousing, inventory, logistics, and fulfilment while enabling the business to scale efficiently across owned D2C channels, marketplaces, and quick-commerce platforms.

The ideal candidate has successfully managed supply chain operations for a business with an annual turnover of ₹200–250 crore and has played a key role in scaling operations within a high-growth FMCG, personal care, or skincare company.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations across D2C, marketplaces, and quick-commerce channels.
- Lead warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics to ensure high service levels and operational efficiency.
- Drive cost optimization across warehousing, transportation, last-mile delivery, and packaging materials without compromising customer experience.
- Lead warehouse expansion projects, including setting up new warehouses, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
- Build resilient supply chain processes capable of managing demand surges, promotional events, and seasonal sales spikes.
- Partner with Planning, Procurement, Finance, and Business teams to improve inventory health, warehouse utilization,



and working capital efficiency.
- Drive forecasting and inventory planning to minimize stock-outs, reduce dead stock, and improve inventory turns.
- Develop and monitor operational dashboards and KPIs to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Leverage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain technology to improve visibility, automation, and process efficiency.
- Optimize vendor performance by negotiating commercial terms, improving SLAs, and building long-term strategic partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement across the supply chain network.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team while fostering a culture of ownership and execution.

Required Experience

- 6 - 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, or Logistics.
- Proven experience managing supply chain operations for a business with ₹200–250 crore annual revenue .
- Experience in FMCG, Personal Care, Skincare, or similar consumer brands.
- Hands-on experience managing fulfilment across:
- Owned D2C websites
- E-commerce marketplaces
- Quick-commerce platforms
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and fulfilment processes.




- Demonstrated success in scaling supply chain operations during periods of rapid business growth.
- Experience launching new warehouses and leading expansion initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in vendor management, pricing negotiations, and SLA optimization.
- Proficiency in forecasting, inventory planning, and warehouse capacity optimization.

Team Leadership
- Experience managing 4–5 direct reports (Assistant Manager level or above).
- Led cross-functional teams of 15–20 members across warehouse and supply chain operations.

Educational Qualification

- B.Tech from a premier engineering institute (preferably NIT or equivalent).
- M.Tech is an added advantage.

They should have managed supply chain operations across owned websites, marketplaces, and quick-commerce platforms, possess a strong technology-first mindset, and be comfortable leveraging data, dashboards, and automation to drive operational excellence.
