The Senior Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for carrying out structural analysis and design for infrastructure and industrial projects. The role involves hands-on use of MIDAS, STAAD.Pro, ANSYS, and AutoCAD, preparation of design calculations and drawings, and close coordination with project execution and site teams. The position requires a technically strong, detail-oriented professional capable of independently handling assigned design packages under senior guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform structural analysis and design using MIDAS, STAAD.Pro, ANSYS, and AutoCAD for steel and RCC structures.

Prepare detailed structural calculations, design reports, drawings, and BOQs.

Assist in developing safe and economical structural solutions considering constructability and site constraints.

Ensure designs comply with applicable Indian and international codes (IS, IRC, Eurocode, AASHTO).

Coordinate with project managers, execution teams, and erection teams to address design queries and site issues.





Support validation of structures for lifting, transportation, and erection-related load cases.

Review and update designs based on site feedback, design changes, and value engineering inputs.

Participate in internal design reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.

Liaise with drafting teams to ensure accuracy and clarity of drawings.

Provide technical support during project execution, including site visits when required.

Assist in adopting standard design practices, templates, and documentation formats.

Stay updated with relevant design tools, codes, and industry practices. Key Skills:

Software Proficiency: Expert-level skills in MIDAS Civil, ANSYS and STAAD.Pro; working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM platforms preferred.

Desired Competencies

Strong foundation in structural analysis and design for static and dynamic loads.

Ability to independently execute assigned design tasks with minimal supervision.

Effective coordination and communication with cross-functional teams.

High attention to detail with a robust focus on engineering quality and safety.

Capable of meeting project timelines in fast-paced environments.

Prior exposure to EPC / Infra / turnkey projects is an added advantage.

Willingness to support site activities and address design-related issues.
