We are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering organization and serve as a technical leader responsible for building and evolving highly scalable backend platforms.

This role is not intended for feature developers. We are looking for an engineer who has repeatedly designed, built, optimized, and operated production systems at scale, possesses deep architectural expertise, and demonstrates exceptional ownership throughout the software development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for solving complex engineering problems, driving technical direction, mentoring engineers, improving engineering standards, and ensuring that our platforms remain reliable, secure, scalable, and maintainable as the organization grows.

This position requires a strong systems-thinking mindset and the ability to balance long-term architecture with short-term business priorities.

Responsibilities & Requirements

- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework .
- Architect enterprise-grade software solutions, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven applications, and reusable platform components with strong knowledge of SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Clean Architecture .
- Independently own complete software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, optimization, documentation, and production support.
- Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL , including schema design, indexing, query optimization, transactions, partitioning, replication concepts, backups, migrations, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis.
- Robust experience with Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ , asynchronous task processing, caching strategies, background workers, scheduling, queues, retries, distributed locking, and rate limiting.
- Hands-on experience managing production infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Route53, CloudWatch, Load Balancers), Linux administration, Nginx, Gunicorn, SSL, DNS,



and server security.
- Expertise in Docker, Docker Compose, Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, logging, production debugging, and zero-downtime deployment strategies .
- Professional Mobile Application Development experience is mandatory , with strong expertise in React Native , Android & iOS deployment, Play Store/App Store publishing, push notifications, deep linking, offline storage, state management, API integration, and mobile performance optimization.
- Build and integrate complex third-party services including payment gateways, authentication providers, email/SMS services, cloud storage, mapping services, webhooks, ERP/CRM integrations, and external REST APIs .
- Ensure application security by implementing JWT/OAuth, RBAC, OWASP Top 10 protections, secure authentication, encryption, secrets management, API security, input validation, and secure coding practices .
- Lead technical design discussions, conduct architecture reviews, perform high-quality code reviews, establish engineering standards, mentor junior developers, reduce technical debt, and drive engineering excellence across projects.
- Demonstrate expertise in debugging complex production issues, root cause analysis, performance profiling, memory optimization, concurrency issues, database bottlenecks, and system reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable, and business-aligned technical solutions while providing accurate estimations and technical leadership.
- Excellent communication, documentation, leadership, ownership, mentoring, analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage multiple mission-critical projects.
- Mandatory Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
2. 5–7+ years of engineering experience
