Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Development of data solutions using Azure, Python, SQL, Kafka, NoSQL, and .NET C#.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in building data solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
- Solid programming skills in Python.
- Experience with Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) systems,



including building Datawarehouses/DataMarts on Azure Synapse SQL Pools (SQL DW).
- Proficient in writing complex SPROCs, Functions, Views using T-SQL.
- Solid understanding of Spark architecture and performance tuning for big data workloads in Spark.
- Building complex data transformations using Pyspark & SQL for both structured and semi-structured data (XML/JSON).
- Familiarity with Azure Databricks and deploying Spark code within Databricks clusters.
- Knowledge of NoSQL use cases, schema modeling, and building integrations to read/write to Cosmos DB.
- Understanding of Cognitive Search/ElasticSearch and integrations for loading data to search services.
- Building real-time integrations with Kafka.
- Familiarity with the Azure cloud ecosystem, and certifications such as DP-200/201/203 are an advantage.
- Proficient in using development tools such as Visual Studio 19+, IntelliJ, and source control using GIT.
- Good understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD automated deployment (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture and experience building microservices with .NET Core WebAPI.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8-10 years of experience in data solution development.
- Proficient with Python, SQL, and Kafka.
- Experience with Azure, NoSQL, Spark, Kafka, and Azure Synapse.

Good to Have:

- Confluent Kafka certification or other relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure).
- Experience with Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization.
- Knowledge of security best practices related to data streaming and cloud environments.
