Senior Software Engineer – Platform & Services About the Role

Applix is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Platform & Services to build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend platforms powering Digital Manufacturing and Supply Chain solutions. You will design and develop enterprise-grade APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications that enable real-time data exchange across enterprise systems, IoT platforms, analytics solutions, and digital twin environments. If you are passionate about distributed systems, cloud technologies, modern backend development, and DevOps, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and gRPC services.

Build scalable, event-driven microservices using modern architecture principles.

Develop secure backend services integrating enterprise and IoT data.

Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to expose curated datasets through reusable APIs.

Implement authentication, authorization, OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC security.

Optimize services for scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance.

Deploy and manage cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.

Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for production services.

Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and Agile development practices.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering productivity.
