Role Description The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks for web, API, mobile, and back-end services integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

The Senior SDET collaborates closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define test strategies, improve code quality, and ensure reliable coverage across critical application layers. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable test code, performing code reviews, analyzing test failures, optimizing test performance,



and contributing to tooling and infrastructure that enhance the quality engineering platform. The role also involves mentoring team members, promoting best practices in test automation and software design, and helping drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Hands-on experience of 3-5 years in Software Development and Programming with up-to-date languages (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and application of design patterns in test automation and framework development.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and integration testing.
- Demonstrated background in building and maintaining automated test frameworks (UI, API, performance, and regression) within CI/CD environments.
- Familiarity with QA tools and ecosystems (e.g., test runners, mocking frameworks, test management and bug tracking tools like Jira or Linear).
- Ability to analyze complex systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations for improving quality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
