Role Description The Senior Software Developer Backend is a full-time hybrid role based in Tharthari, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that power SaathApp’s core platform features.

The developer will write clean, efficient, and secure server-side code, optimize application performance, and ensure reliability in production environments. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with product and frontend teams, reviewing code, refining system architecture, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to technical decisions and best practices. The role also includes mentoring other developers, improving development workflows, and participating in regular planning and review sessions.





Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining production-grade services.
- Advanced Programming skills in one or more modern backend languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Node.js, Go).
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and integration with third-party services.
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud platforms.
- Ability to write testable code and work with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead backend role, including code reviews and mentorship, is highly beneficial.
