Experience: 6–8+ Years

Location: Bangalore / Mumbai / Chennai (Remote Work Available – Candidates must be able to collect the company laptop from one of the above office locations.)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITSM & Vulnerability Response (VR) Senior Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in ITSM, Vulnerability Response (Security Operations), integrations, and platform customization , while ensuring secure, scalable, and SLA-driven service delivery.

Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries will be an added advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesITSM Development

- Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow ITSM modules, including:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Request Management
- Ensure implementations align with ITIL best practices and organizational governance.
- Improve service quality by driving SLA compliance, reducing backlog, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Vulnerability Response (VR) / Security Operations
- Implement, configure, and maintain ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR).
- Manage end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle, including identification, prioritization, assignment, remediation, and closure.
- Integrate vulnerability scanners such as Rapid7 , Fortify , or equivalent security tools.
- Support security compliance, audit readiness, and vulnerability reporting.

ServiceNow Development & Customization
- Develop and customize:
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- UI Actions
- Flow Designer
- Workflows
- Scheduled Jobs
- Deliver scalable and high-performance ServiceNow solutions aligned with business requirements.

Integrations & Platform Management




- Develop and maintain REST and SOAP integrations with enterprise applications.
- Configure and support CMDB integrations across ITSM and Security Operations modules.
- Ensure data integrity and platform performance.

Reporting & Automation
- Build Performance Analytics dashboards and operational reports.
- Track KPIs such as:
- SLA Compliance
- MTTR
- Vulnerability Metrics
- Develop and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts for release validation and regression testing.

Managed Services & Support
- Provide production support, defect resolution, and platform enhancements.
- Participate in CAB meetings, governance discussions, and stakeholder reviews.
- Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) / Security Operations
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and Glide APIs
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting and platform development
- Hands-on experience with:
- Service Catalog
- Flow Designer
- Workflows
- Business Rules

- REST & SOAP API integrations

Mandatory Experience
- 6+ years of overall ServiceNow development experience.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) is mandatory.
- Solid experience in enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Mandatory Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM or CIS – Security Operations

Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or other regulated environments.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes.
- Experience with enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
