Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP MM/WM Functional Consultant with 15+ years of SAP functional experience supporting SAP ECC 6.0 implementation, enhancement, rollout, and application support projects. This is a client-facing contract opportunity requiring a strong functional consultant with deep expertise across both SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing end-to-end procurement, inventory, warehouse, and logistics processes.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to analyze business requirements, configure SAP solutions, provide functional leadership, and support business-critical operations in an SAP ECC environment.

Key Responsibilities Lead business requirement gathering sessions with business users and process owners.

Analyze business processes and recommend best-practice SAP MM and WM solutions.

Configure and support SAP ECC 6.0 MM and WM modules based on business requirements.

Design functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers on custom developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.

Support procurement, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics execution, and goods movement processes.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including SD, PP, QM, FI/CO, and Basis to ensure seamless integration across supply chain processes.

Prepare functional specifications and review technical developments.

Execute unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.





Provide production support and troubleshoot complex functional issues.

Conduct end-user training, prepare process documentation, and develop user manuals.

Support continuous process improvement initiatives and recommend system optimization opportunities.

Mentor junior consultants and provide functional guidance during project execution.

Required Skills & Experience 15+ years of SAP functional consulting experience.

Robust hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0.

Deep expertise in both

SAP Materials Management (MM)

SAP Warehouse Management (WM)

Multiple full lifecycle SAP implementation experience along with enhancement and production support projects.

Strong knowledge of: Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

Inventory Management

Warehouse Operations

Logistics Execution

Physical Inventory

Stock Transfers

Batch Management

Purchasing Processes

Release Strategies

Experience preparing functional specifications and working closely with ABAP development teams.

Strong integration knowledge with SD, PP, QM, and FI/CO modules.

Experience with data migration, master data, testing, cutover planning, and go-live support.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working directly with business users in global delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications: SAP certification in MM and/or WM is preferred.

Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, chemicals, or supply chain-intensive industries is highly desirable.

Experience working in large enterprise SAP ECC environments.

Exposure to S/4HANA transformation projects is an added advantage.
