Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Testing Engineer with strong functional knowledge of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) and expertise in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have experience validating SAP HCM business processes, preparing test scenarios, executing test cases, and supporting end-to-end testing activities across HR modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and functional specifications for SAP HCM.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Execute Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate end-to-end HR business processes across SAP HCM modules.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA or ALM.
- Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, Developers, and Business Users.
- Prepare test execution reports and defect metrics.
- Support production validation and post-deployment testing.
- Participate in requirement review meetings and provide test estimates.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards and quality processes.

Required Skills
- Solid experience in SAP HCM Testing.
- Good understanding of SAP HCM modules such as:
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- Organizational Management (OM)
- Time Management (TM)
- Payroll
- Benefits




- Recruitment
- Experience in Functional Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and Smoke Testing.
- Knowledge of SAP HR business processes.
- Experience with defect management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors testing.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA HCM integration.
- Automation testing using Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager Test Suite.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- SAP HCM certification is preferred.
- Relevant testing certifications (ISTQB) are an added advantage.

Nice to Have
- Experience with interfaces involving SAP HCM (IDocs, APIs, Middleware).
- Knowledge of payroll validation and statutory compliance testing.
- Experience with integration testing involving SAP FI/CO and SuccessFactors.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
