A Sales Officer / Sales Executive in the Cement Industry acts as the crucial link between the manufacturer, the supply chain network (dealers/retailers), and the end consumers (contractors, builders, and individual home builders).

It is a energetic, target-driven field role that combines relationship management, market intelligence, and technical product awareness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network & Channel Management

Dealer & Retailer Onboarding: Expand the retail network by onboarding stockists, dealers, and sub-dealers across assigned territories. Primary & Secondary Sales: Ensure smooth primary sales (company to dealer) and drive secondary sales (dealer to retailer/end-consumer).

- Dealer Relationship & Collections: Maintain healthy working relationships with channel partners and ensure timely payment collections/settlements.

2. Influencer Engagement & Technical Support

Mason & Contractor Meets: Conduct regular workshops, meets, and technical demonstrations for masons, civil engineers, and contractors to build trust and brand preference. Site Visits: Inspect local construction sites,



offer advice on product usage (e.g., OPC vs. PPC, waterproofing additives), and recommend suitable products based on structural needs.

3. Market Intelligence & Strategy

Competitor Analysis: Track competitor pricing, promotional schemes, discount structures, and distribution moves. Demand Forecasting: Prepare territory-wise monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications: High School Diploma / Graduate (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc) or B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering (highly preferred for technical sales roles).

Key Skills:

Field negotiation & closing ability.

Territory mapping and route planning.

Working knowledge of construction materials.
