Role & responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

- Identify, develop, and manage key accounts within the assigned area, focusing on industries such as Automobile, Auto Ancillary, EV, and Warehouse Automation.
- Drive sales growth by promoting the company's full range of automation solutions, including PLC systems, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, Robotics, and material handling systems.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitor activity, ensuring the companys offerings are competitively positioned.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain robust relationships with existing and prospective clients, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Engage with clients to understand their automation requirements, conducting needs assessments and aligning solutions with their operational goals.
- Organize and conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits to showcase the benefits and capabilities of the company’s automation solutions.

Solution Selling & Technical Support:

- Work with technical and engineering teams to develop tailored proposals, quotes, and solutions that address client-specific needs.
- Provide clients with expert guidance on the technical aspects of the company’s automation solutions, helping them make informed decisions.
- Offer post-sales support, ensuring smooth implementation of solutions and providing troubleshooting assistance when required.

Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:

- Develop and execute an area sales strategy that aligns with regional and organizational goals, targeting high-potential accounts and industries.
- Set, track, and achieve sales targets, regularly analyzing performance and adjusting the sales approach to ensure success.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track interactions,



and maintain accurate sales pipeline information.

Collaboration & Reporting:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis, keeping senior management informed of progress, challenges, and opportunities in the area.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company, promote offerings, and network with potential clients.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or a related field.

Experience:

- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales within the automation industry, with a strong background in solution-based selling.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share in Automobile, Auto Ancillary, EV, or Warehouse Automation sectors.
- Hands-on experience with automation systems, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, Robotics, and material handling solutions.

Microsoft Office, Should be able to co relate various Industrial news with ATPL business model

Preferred candidate profile

Area Manager to drive sales growth and expand our client base within the Automobile, Auto Ancillary, EV, and Warehouse Automation industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in automation sales, with expertise in developing customer relationships, understanding complex client needs, and delivering tailored automation solutions. This role requires a proactive sales approach, strong technical knowledge, and effective communication skills to establish the company as a preferred automation solutions provider in the region.

He is also responsible to monitor & control all project execution related activities and customer satisfaction thereof.
