We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Quality Engineer with a robust mechanical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 to 10 years of experience, or a Mechanical Diploma with over 10 years of experience. Bringing proven hands-on expertise in CMM programming, quality documentation, and root cause analysis, you will play a critical role in monitoring production quality, driving corrective actions, and ensuring our manufacturing processes consistently meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- CMM Programming & Operation: Develop and execute Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs using Zeiss, Mitutoyo, or Renishaw equipment.
- Quality Monitoring: Consistently monitor recent production runs and overall quality levels to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Process Control: Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) and evaluate process capability to maintain manufacturing stability.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare,
review, and manage critical quality documentation, including 8D Reports and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
- PPAP Verification: Verify and validate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
- Problem Solving: Conduct thorough root cause analysis for any quality issues or non-conformances that arise during production.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Follow up proactively with the quality department and cross-functional teams to implement and verify corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience with CMM programming on Zeiss, Mitutoyo, or Renishaw machines.
- Quality Frameworks: Strong practical knowledge of SPC, 8D problem-solving methodologies, FAIR preparation, and PPAP documentation verification.
