Role Description The Senior Product Engineer role at Metaforms is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The person in this role will design, build, and refine core product features that power AI-driven workflows for market research teams, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and research specialists. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating user needs into scalable product solutions, implementing and optimising backend and frontend components, and ensuring system reliability and performance in production environments.





The Senior Product Engineer will contribute to product architecture decisions, participate in code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards, while continuously iterating based on user feedback and market requirements. This role also involves mentoring other engineers, collaborating on technical documentation, and working across teams to align product engineering efforts with Metaforms strategic roadmap.

Qualifications

- Strong Product Engineering skills, including experience designing and building scalable, production-grade software systems.
- Product Design and Research and Development (R&D;) capabilities to translate user needs into well-defined features and experimental prototypes.
- Analytical Skills to interpret complex technical and business requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimise system performance.
- Effective Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with product, design, data, and customer-facing teams.
- Proficiency in up-to-date programming languages and frameworks (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or similar), and experience with cloud-native architectures.
- Background in building B2B SaaS or workflow automation products; exposure to data processing, AI, or market research tooling is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of end-to-end deliverables, and mentor junior team members.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
