We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to take full ownership of our global supply chain and inventory strategy at Gotraka. This is a crucial role for our business. You will run our day-to-day purchasing operations out of our office, working on UK hours to stay aligned with our primary business operations while building long-term, direct relationships with manufacturers and distributors across Europe and China.

This position sits at the centre of our growth and profitability. You will have the autonomy to shape how we buy, how we manage cash flow through inventory, and how we secure the most competitive stock in the hardware market.

Responsibilities

- Manage Total Operations: Oversee all procurement and inventory planning for both our component resale business and our custom gaming PC builds.
- Build Supplier Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for international suppliers and manufacturers (specifically in China and Europe), moving past basic transactional buying to build genuine partnerships.
- Negotiate and Secure Deals: Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and lead times. Use your network to secure early product access, exclusive deals, and allocation priority on high-demand components.
- Forecast and Plan: Balance stock availability against cash flow and customer demand, ensuring we have what we need without over-purchasing.
- Build the Framework: As we scale, you will introduce the necessary structure, processes, and internal controls to keep the department organised and efficient.




- Collaborate Internally: Work alongside our e-commerce, finance, and operations teams to make sure our buying cycles match up with sales targets and financial goals.
- Monitor the Market: Keep a close eye on component lifecycles, pricing trends, and shortages to protect us from supply chain disruptions.

Requirements

- Tech Hardware Background: You must have solid experience in senior procurement or supply chain roles specifically dealing with computer components, tech hardware, or electronics.
- Global Sourcing Experience: A proven track record of working directly with suppliers in Europe and China. You know how to navigate international logistics and manufacturing timelines.
- Resale and Manufacturing Know-How: Experience handling inventory for both quick-turnaround retail/resale and components needed for assembly lines.
- Availability: Able to work full-time directly from our office on a schedule aligned with UK time zones.
- Robust Commercial Instincts: You are a skilled negotiator who understands margins, cost analysis, and contract terms.
- Data Fluency: Advanced Excel skills are essential. You should be comfortable manipulating data for forecasting and cost tracking.
- Problem-Solver Mentality: Comfortable stepping into a growing company where you will need to build processes rather than just follow old ones.
- Bonus: Prior experience handling branded component allocations is a major plus.
