Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Power BI / Tableau Developer with 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Analytics. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, data modeling, and enterprise reporting

. Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks is highly preferred.

Required Skills:

Power BI

- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service .

- Expertise in DAX , Power Query (M Language)

, and advanced data modeling.

- Experience in developing interactive dashboards, KPI scorecards, drill-through reports, bookmarks, and custom visuals.
- Strong knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) , workspace management, deployment pipelines, and report optimization.

- Experience with Power BI Gateway , scheduled refresh, and incremental refresh.

Tableau

- Strong experience with Tableau Desktop , Tableau Server

, and Tableau Cloud

- Expertise in Calculated Fields , Level of Detail (LOD) Expressions

, Table Calculations

, Parameters, and Dashboard Actions.

- Experience in building high-performance dashboards using live and extract connections.
- Knowledge of Tableau administration, security, and performance optimization.

Strong SQL Skills (Mandatory)

- Expert-level proficiency in SQL with extensive experience writing complex queries.
- Strong expertise in Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, Window Functions, Recursive Queries, and Set Operators .

- Experience in query optimization , execution plan analysis, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.





- Hands-on experience developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Materialized Views .

- Strong understanding of database design , normalization, denormalization, and dimensional modeling (Star & Snowflake Schema).

- Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure SQL, Snowflake, Databricks SQL, and Synapse Analytics .

- Expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
- Experience handling large-scale datasets and optimizing database performance.

Data Engineering & Cloud

- Experience with Microsoft Fabric , Azure Synapse

- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, and Dimensional Modeling.
- Experience integrating multiple enterprise data sources through APIs and connectors.

Preferred Skills:

- Microsoft Fabric and OneLake.
- Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Python or R for analytics and automation.
- Experience with SAP BW/HANA, SAP Datasphere, Oracle, or Salesforce.

- Microsoft Power BI and Tableau certifications are preferred

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI and Tableau dashboards.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Build optimized data models and semantic layers for reporting.
- Develop advanced DAX calculations, Tableau LOD expressions, and complex SQL queries.

- Optimize dashboard and database performance for enterprise-scale reporting.
- Implement security, governance, and best practices across BI platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to deliver analytics solutions.

- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior developers.
