About Us:

We are a fast-growing Defence Electronics startup focused on developing advanced Electro-Optical (EO) systems for defence and homeland security applications. Our products include Thermal Imagers, I² Tube-based Night Vision Devices, Optical Weapon Sights, Multi-Sensor Payloads, and customized EO solutions.

We are looking for a highly motivated Optical Engineer who is passionate about building indigenous, high-performance defence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, integrate, and test optical systems for defence applications
- Work on thermal imaging optics, day optics, image intensifier-based systems, and multi-sensor

payloads
- Perform optical alignment, calibration, and performance evaluation
- Support prototype development and transition to production
- Coordinate with electronics, mechanical, and manufacturing teams for system integration
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and production procedures




- Participate in qualification and environmental testing
- Support customer demonstrations and field trials

Key Skills Required:

- Strong understanding of optical design principles and optical instrumentation
- Experience with production/development/testing of thermal imagers, optical sights, and night vision

systems
- Knowledge of optical tolerancing, alignment, and testing
- Familiarity with Zemax, Code V, or equivalent optical design software is preferred
- Knowledge of MIL standards and defence qualification practices is an advantage
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

- M.Tech in Optical Engineering, Photonics or related discipline
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in defence electro-optics
