PRIME FUNCTION To lead, plan, execute, and deliver engineering/manufacturing projects from concept to completion by managing timelines, budgets, cross-functional teams, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring successful project outcomes in alignment with organizational goals.

/ Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, design, quality, production, and other support functions.

- Identify potential project risks and issues; establish and execute mitigation strategies to avoid delays or disruptions.

- Provide regular project updates, reports, and milestone communication to internal and external stakeholders.

- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project requirements, specifications, and expectations are fully met.

- Ensure adherence to organizational project management standards and drive continuous improvement within processes and documentation.

- Conduct project review meetings and ensure effective resource allocation.

- Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

AUTHORITY

- Decision-making authority on project schedules, task assignments, and resource utilization within approved limits.

- Authority to coordinate and direct cross-functional project team members.

- Approval authority for project-related documents, reports, and stakeholder communications.





- Escalation rights for major project deviations, risks, or resource constraints.

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY

Qualification

- BE/Diploma/B. Tech or any relevant field

Experience

- 10–12 years of experience in Project Management within manufacturing/engineering environments.

Competencies

- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.

- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.

- Excellent leadership, people management, and team-building skills.

- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.

- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure.

- High customer orientation and continuous improvement mindset.

- AS9100 QMS and Documentation awareness.
