Role & responsibilities
Society &
• Programme Partnerships • Own end-to-end planning and execution of professional education programmes run jointly with surgical societies (e.g., IAS-partnered events across Knee and Shoulder focus areas).
- Draft and manage society correspondence, consent processes, and sponsorship agreements.
- Track programme calendars, budgets, faculty commitments, and post-event outcome reporting.
Digital Education
Platform • Own content strategy and pipeline.
- Coordinate with Product Marketing and clinical faculty to keep platform content current with product launches.
- Define and track platform engagement metrics (usage, completion, surgeon feedback). Faculty &
- Observership Programmes • Coordinate international faculty visits and delegate observership programmes with host surgeons (e.g., overseas shoulder/knee specialists).
- Build business justifications and approval documentation for observership travel and sponsorship.
- Manage logistics, compliance,
and post-programme reporting for faculty exchanges. Cross-Functional &
- Field Support • Partner with Field Force / Sales to identify education needs by region and surgeon segment.
- Work with Brand Communications to ensure education content aligns with campaign messaging.
- Support Marketing Operations with budget tracking and vendor management for education activities. 3.
Qualifications &
Experience • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field
- MBA preferred.
- 58 years in medical device or pharma qualified/medical education, marketing, or KOL management.
- Prior experience with orthopaedic, arthroscopy, or surgical specialty products is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated experience managing society/association partnerships and CME-style programming.
