Position Overview The Senior Manager – Network & Design will support the Head – Network & Design in executing optimization projects across Blue Dart’s network. This role focuses on detailed network analysis, scenario modelling, and supporting automation projects at hubs and gateways. It will serve as the execution engine that translates strategic network initiatives into measurable improvements.





Job Purpose To provide specialist expertise in network analysis and optimization, ensuring that changes deliver measurable cost savings, scalability, and service quality improvements. Key Roles & Responsibilities Network Analysis & Planning Gather and analyse network performance data across hubs, linehaul, and delivery.

Build models to test scenarios such as facility expansion, consolidation, or routing changes.

Identify capacity constraints and provide solutions.

Execution Support

Assist in implementing automation projects with ROI tracking.

Support regional pilots and embed network design changes into daily operations.

Track performance of implemented solutions against business case assumptions. Monitoring & Reporting Develop dashboards to monitor utilization, cost per shipment, and SLA metrics.

Document and share learnings from optimization projects.

Collaboration

Partner with Regional Operations to ensure smooth rollout of network changes.

Work with Finance for cost-benefit validation and IT for digital integration.

Continuous Improvement

Recommend process improvements based on analysis.

Benchmark Blue Dart’s performance against market leaders.

Qualifications & Experience Education: Graduate in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain Management.

Experience: 8 - 10 years in network optimization, logistics planning, or supply chain analytics.

Experience in modelling, optimization tools, and BI dashboards.





Exposure to automation or facility layout projects an advantage.

Skills & Capabilities Technical Skills: Proficiency in optimization, simulation, and routing tools.

Strong data analysis and modelling skills.

Knowledge of hub & spoke design.

Key Competencies: Robust execution and problem-solving ability.

Collaborative and detail oriented.

Good communication and influencing skills.

Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
