Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Incoming Quality Inspection Specialist to join our 2W Electric Bike Manufacturing team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of electric bikes by conducting detailed inspections on the production line, focusing on critical components such as the battery.

Responsibilities

- Quality Inspection: Responsible for accurately completing the Quality Control Component Inspection Report.
- Quality Inspection: Responsible for inspecting all incoming components from 3rd party company.
- Quality Inspection: Ensure that components meet specified quality standards, safety regulations, and design specifications.
- Quality Inspection: Good knowledge in reading/understanding part drawings and GD&T.;
- Quality Inspection: Knowledge on Visual, Functional, Electrical & dimensional inspection of parts.
- Quality Inspection: Good knowledge in problem solving tools (7 QC tools, 8D, why why analysis, CAPA).
- Quality Inspection: Good knowledge of SAP, with hands on experience in inventory transfer processes and accurate tracking of inventory across locations.
- Quality Inspection: Positive knowledge on measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier caliper, CMM / VMM machine, and other measuring gauges.
- Defect Identification: Identify and document any defects, deviations, or non-conformities related to the incoming parts.
- Defect Identification: Work collaboratively with SQA & production teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including photographs and written reports for the incoming components.
- Documentation: Responsible for updating the QC incoming log.
- Documentation: Responsible for updating the non conformance log
- Documentation: Daily closure report 0 @ QDC
- Documentation: ISO documentation compliance and record management.
- Process Monitoring:



Monitor and evaluate incoming components to proactively identify potential quality issues.
- Process Monitoring: Collaborate with production & SQA teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Process Monitoring: Responsible to monitor inspection is being followed as per inspection standards.
- Process Monitoring: 4M confirmation @ unskilled manpower
- Process Monitoring: Training evaluation of unskilled manpower
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to drive continuous improvement in components.
- Collaboration: Provide feedback to relevant teams on ways to enhance the overall manufacturing process.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for incoming quality inspectors on quality standards and inspection criteria.
- Training: Ensure that the quality team is aligned with and understands quality requirements for all incoming components.
- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external quality audits by providing necessary documentation and insights into the in-process quality controls for battery components.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mechanical / Automobile, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality inspection within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on electric vehicle components.
- Strong understanding of quality standards and processes related to electric bike manufacturing.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
