BG Global is hiring for a leading carpet manufacturing and export company with a strong global presence. seeking a Senior Manager / Director – Furniture Design to join its design leadership team in Jaipur.

This is a strategic role for an experienced furniture design professional who is passionate about creating world-class furniture collections for international markets. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Chief Creative Officer, lead a team of designers, and drive product development from concept through production while ensuring exceptional design quality, craftsmanship, and commercial viability.

Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Chief Creative Officer to design and develop furniture collections based on client aesthetics and project requirements.

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of senior furniture designers, ensuring high-quality design output and timely project delivery.
- Translate design concepts into production-ready specifications while maintaining design integrity.
- Work closely with Product Development, Engineering, and Production teams to oversee prototype development, sampling, and final production.
- Ensure products meet design, quality, cost, and manufacturing standards.
- Review design drawings, material selections, finishes, and technical specifications.
- Research global furniture trends, materials,



and manufacturing techniques to drive product innovation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution from concept to finished product.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, functionality, and aesthetics across all product lines.
- Support continuous improvement in design processes and team development.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in furniture design with established international furniture brands, primarily serving the US market.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring design teams.
- Robust expertise in designing furniture using timber, timber finishes, metal, stone, and other premium materials.
- Hands-on experience working with Product Development and Manufacturing teams throughout the complete product lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, construction techniques, and production constraints.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp, or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing premium furniture design projects and product development experience.
