About 21CC Education

21CC Education creates highly engaging, gamified e-learning modules for blue- and grey-collar workers in logistics, warehousing, transportation, and allied sectors. Modules are delivered via their mobile learning platform, 21CC Skilled, to clients including DHL, DP World, WFS, and GIZ Germany. The team is small (10 people), cross-functional, and collaborates with a global team based in the Netherlands.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer (internally called a Storyline Developer) to join the Content team in Bangalore. This is a replacement for the senior-most developer on the team. You will receive storyboards from the writing team and own the full creative and technical execution of SCORM-compliant e-learning modules and games using Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360 — from animation and interactivity through to QA and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Build SCORM-compliant L2 and L3 e-learning modules and interactive games from storyboards, using Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360

- Create all animations, interactions, branching storylines, and gamification elements within Storyline — not just slide transitions but full content animation

- Handle illustration asset preparation and adaptation using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop





- Conduct self-QA and test modules before deployment; manage SCORM packaging and launch-readiness

- Suggest improvements to instructional flow, learner experience, and module effectiveness based on best practices

- Collaborate closely with content writers, graphic designers, and the global Netherlands-based team across overlapping hours (from 2 PM IST)

- Work on revamps and improvements to existing content in addition to new module builds

- Contribute to cutting-edge JavaScript-enhanced game development projects for European certification programs

Must-Have Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Articulate Storyline 360 development experience (not instructional writing — actual module and game development)

- Expert-level knowledge of triggers, layers, states, variables, timelines, and effects in Storyline 360

- Proficiency in Articulate Rise 360

- Ability to animate graphics within Storyline (content-level animation, not just slide effects)

- Proven ability to build branching interactions and gamification elements

- SCORM-compliant module publishing — able to package, test, and troubleshoot L2/L3 modules independently

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop

- Prior experience in corporate e-learning (adult learners, not K-12 only)





- Ability to work independently from a storyboard brief and make creative decisions without constant direction

- Open, collaborative working style — comfortable with frequent feedback loops across writers, designers, IT, and global stakeholders

Good to Have

- Prior experience in EdTech or adult workforce / blue-collar learning content

- Exposure to JavaScript-enhanced Storyline builds or custom integrations

- Knowledge of Adobe Captivate

- Logistics, warehousing, or supply chain domain familiarity

- Comfort working with an international (Netherlands-based) team from 2 PM IST onwards

Work Setup

- Hybrid — 2 days/week at WeWork co-working space, Bangalore; remaining days remote

- Working hours: 10 AM – 7 PM IST

- Quarterly variable pay in addition to fixed CTC

- Exposure to global product launches (Europe) and JavaScript-enhanced game development
