Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Engineer role is based in Ahmedabad and focuses on motion controller engineering within industrial automation.

The Senior

Engineer will design, implement, and optimize motion control solutions for automation systems, including configuration, programming, and tuning of motion controllers and drives. Daily responsibilities include analyzing application requirements, developing control algorithms, commissioning systems at customer sites, and troubleshooting motion-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, supporting product integration, mentoring junior engineers, and working closely with customers to ensure reliable,



high-performance automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have 6–7 years of hands-on motion controller experience in industrial automation environments.

Qualifications

- Strong motion control engineering background with 6–7 years of experience in industrial automation, including motion controller configuration, tuning, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, drive and servo systems, and industrial communication protocols (such as EtherCAT, CANopen, Modbus, or Profibus).
- Experience with system integration, control algorithms, and application development for multi-axis motion, positioning, and synchronization.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot automation systems using diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, and relevant engineering software.
- Solid understanding of electrical and control engineering fundamentals, safety standards, and industrial machinery operation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
- Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and readiness to interact with customers on technical topics.
- Experience in on-site commissioning, field support, and training for industrial automation solutions is highly beneficial.
- Solid problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
