A Pune-based distribution company established in 1975 and an authorized distributor for major brands like Nikon, Canon, Panasonic, and Vivo across Maharashtra, and Prime Commerce, a global import/export house for consumer electronics with 7 trading hubs across India and Dubai, serving 17+ countries. This new venture is where that five-decade legacy in electronics trade meets modern technology and you’d be one of the first people building that bridge.

About the Role

We’re a startup building a B2B live trading platform, currently in pre-launch build phase — this hire will have real influence on architecture and product direction from day one. This role isn’t limited to one product — you’ll also take on hands-on technical ownership across a few other ventures we’re building, and coordinate closely with an external partner technology company on shared work.

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Engineer/Tech Lead with 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software, strong working knowledge of AI/ML integration, and solid command of our tech stack. This is a builder role — you should be comfortable with ambiguity, early-stage pace, and switching context across products. We’re especially looking for someone hands-on and eager to learn, who treats new problems as a chance to grow rather than a distraction.

What You’ll Do

- Own and build core platform features end-to-end — real-time trading flows, notifications, dashboards,

- Take hands-on ownership of features across our other ventures as well — actively building, not just overseeing
- Act as the primary technical point of contact with our external partner tech company — briefing requirements, reviewing deliverables, keeping cross-team work aligned
- Design and implement AI-driven features — smart matching, forecasting, fraud/anomaly detection
- Make key technical decisions on stack, infrastructure, and integrations across the ventures you support
- Set engineering practices and standards as the team scales; mentor future hires

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of owning production systems
- Hands-on proficiency across our stack: Next.js, Tailwind (Web), Flutter (iOS, Android), Python/Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP
- Real experience integrating AI/ML (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar) into products — not just familiarity with the concepts
- Comfortable with analytics/reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Clarity
- Comfort managing multiple projects/companies at once, with high autonomy and low process
- Experience coordinating with external teams or partner companies on shared deliverables
- Genuinely hands-on — you’d rather build or fix it yourself than just delegate
- A real eagerness to learn — this role will stretch across products and domains you may not have touched before
