RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design of analogue circuits , primarily interfacing sensor outputs to existing platforms Design and development of digital analogue power meters , transducers and protection products Sourcing and working with suppliers of sensor technologies to integrate these into our condition monitoring platforms Develop electronic PCB designs and board layouts Plan and implement testing programs for new products that meet internal , international and customer specific test requirements
- Assist global engineering team with New Product Developments across a range of projects and executing on cost optimization / reduction (VA / VE) opportunities for the business Core team member of project teams to develop new products / processes from seed to market place using LDFSS tools , techniques , Project and metrics Preparing design verification test plans , Design Process FMEAs Support product compliance and approvals for all new products and platforms as required by our customers. Provision of technical product support and training to our manufacturing , sales organizations and customers Successfully facilitate transfer and support of new product introduction (NPI) into high volume manufacturing. Provide support / consultancy to Manufacturing. Be a strong technical partner and provide support to Product management teams. Attend / support customer meetings , technology days and site visits as required.



Reverse Engineering competitor products Supporting the design of jigs fixtures for product testing where required. Recording results of design reviews and design decision meetings and report writing

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE

- Engineering Degree (BE / B.Tech) or Masters (ME / M.Tech) in Electronics Communication , Electrical Electronics Minimum five years development experience in electrical or electronics RD or design role. Electronic PCB design and component assembly to IEC 61010 Ability to use simulation tools , including circuit simulators e.g SPICE Integration of RF communications sensor systems with SCADA systems (IEC 60870 - 5 101 or 104 DNP3) LDFSS Black Belt , DMAIC Black or green belt certifications an advantage Organised , methodical and self - motivated individual with the ability to work under minimal supervision , on own initiative and meet own commitments is essential. Flexibility to travel internationally to visit customers , development partners and suppliers. Experience in SAP product data management environment Proficient in MS Office suite Experience in reverse engineering an advantage Willingness to travel , Fluent English
