Navinyaa Solutions is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer (Wiring Harness & Systems) with 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in 3D wire harness design, electrical schematic engineering and cabinet-level system integration.

Design Platform: SolidWorks Electrical only (Schematic + Electrical 3D / Routing)
Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech — both routes accepted
Engagement: Full time or Contract

About the Role This is a role for an engineer who works comfortably in both worlds — the schematic and the physical assembly. You will route harnesses through cabinets where space is tight, doors swing and drawers slide, and where a wire that chafes through after two years in the field is a failure the operator will feel. Everything is designed in SolidWorks, and the harness you draw is the harness the shop floor builds.
Key Responsibilities 1. 3D Wire Harness & Cable Design Spatial routing: Design and route complex 3D wiring harnesses, looms and cable assemblies within tight, high-density cabinet spaces using SolidWorks Electrical 3D / Routing.
Dynamic kinematics: Engineer harness paths across moving parts — hinged display doors, retractable player-tracking modules and bill validator drawers — with correct strain relief, bend radii and anti-chafing protection.
Assembly integration: Work inside the live SolidWorks cabinet assembly to validate clearances, service access and interference against mechanical and sheet-metal models.
Production deliverables: Generate 2D formboard and nailboard drawings, Bills of Material (BOM),
wire cut lists, sleeve specifications and bundle breakdown sheets for manufacturing. 2.

Schematics & Architecture Schematic design: Create and maintain multi-sheet electrical schematics and power single-line diagrams in SolidWorks Electrical Schematic — AC mains entry, 12V / 24V DC supplies, UPS backup and logic isolation.
System interconnections: Map wiring between main logic boards (EGM controllers), bill acceptors, thermal printers, player panels, topper displays and RGB LED controllers.
Data integrity: Maintain the project database, component libraries, cabling and terminal-strip data so schematics and 3D routing stay synchronised through design change cycles.
- Connector & Component Selection Interconnect specification: Select connectors, pins, headers and terminals (Molex, TE Connectivity, Hirose, Amphenol) for low-power signals, high-speed data and high-vibration environments.
Cable sizing & protection: Define wire gauges, insulation types, shielding, ferrites and sleeving rated for continuous operation.
Manufacturing standards: Ensure every harness design conforms to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 2/3.
- Testing, ESD, Safety & Compliance ESD protection: Implement chassis grounding, shielding and ESD suppression routes that protect sensitive electronics from static discharge at player touch points.
Regulatory compliance: Ensure the electrical layout passes gaming certification such as GLI-11, alongside FCC Class A/B, CE,
UL 62368-1 and UL 2200.
Verification testing: Oversee continuity testing, high-voltage insulation and Hi-Pot tests, thermal load limits and signal integrity checks on harness prototypes.
Mandatory Criteria Education — either route accepted Route A: Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, supported by 8 to 12 years of hands-on wiring harness design and schematic engineering experience.
Route B: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering. Diploma candidates who meet the experience requirement are assessed on demonstrated project capability, not on qualification. Both routes are evaluated against the same technical bar and the same software requirement below.
Software
Platform — SolidWorks, no equivalents You must be independently productive in SolidWorks Electrical Schematic for 2D authoring and SolidWorks Electrical 3D / Routing for harness work, including bidirectional schematic-to-3D synchronisation and automated formboard generation.
