Role & responsibilities

- Deliver Elastic consulting services to enterprise customers as part of a specialized Elastic Partner practice

- Design, deploy, and operate Elasticsearch clusters in production environments

- Implement and optimize search solutions, including index design, mappings, and analyzers

- Perform query optimization and relevance tuning (boosting, scoring strategies)

- Manage alias-based index versioning for zero-downtime rollouts

- Work on modern search use cases including semantic search, vector search, and hybrid search (BM25 + vector)

- Design and implement Observability solutions for logs, metrics, and traces using Elastic

- Build and manage data ingestion pipelines using Elastic Agent, Beats, Logstash, and Kafka

- Execute Elastic Stack upgrades and migrations (e.g., 7.x 8.x)

- Implement Cross-Cluster Replication (CCR) and Disaster Recovery strategies

- Troubleshoot complex production issues related to ingestion, search performance, and cluster health

- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to translate business requirements into Elastic architectures

- Create and maintain runbooks, documentation, and best-practice guidelines

Preferred candidate profile





- 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Elasticsearch / Elastic Stack

- Proven experience designing and operating Elasticsearch clusters in production

- Strong hands-on experience with Query DSL, filters, aggregations, sorting, and relevance tuning

- Experience with modern search patterns semantic search, vector search, and hybrid search

- Solid understanding of Elasticsearch internals (shards, indexing, search performance, scaling)

- Working knowledge of Elastic Stack components: Kibana, Logstash, Beats, Elastic Agent

- Hands-on experience with data ingestion pipelines, including Kafka-based ingestion

- Experience delivering Observability solutions (logs, metrics, traces) using Elastic

- Familiarity with Elastic security features (TLS, RBAC, API keys)

- Solid troubleshooting skills across search relevance, performance, and ingestion issues

- Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to enterprise clients

- Elastic certification (Engineer / Observability) preferred

- Prior customer-facing consulting experience preferred

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile delivery models is a plus
