- Senior Database Administrators will build environments based on standards and best practices that would align to operational and business requirements
- They will perform all database administration tasks and should be well versed with database features, utilities, and recovery procedures
- They are the subject matter experts for database products and will be relied upon to ensure that the databases are installed and configured to meet application requirements
- They would need to collaborate with application teams to tune SQL to ensure minimal resource consumption and optimal throughput
