Role Description The Senior Cybersecurity Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure technology architectures that support Esse India’s immigration and visa consulting operations. This full-time, in office role is based in Abroad and involves working closely with leadership, IT teams, and external partners to safeguard systems, networks, and sensitive client data. Day-to-day activities include assessing security risks, defining security standards and controls, reviewing application and infrastructure designs, and leading security projects and initiatives.

The role also includes performing security assessments and penetration testing, monitoring for threats and vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection and information security regulations.

The Senior Cybersecurity

Architect will mentor team members, contribute to security awareness training, and continuously improve the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Security Architecture Design, including defining security frameworks, standards, and controls for enterprise environments.

Strong capabilities in Application Security, such as secure software design, code review practices,



and integration of security into development lifecycles.

Advanced knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, risk management, and modern attack vectors and defense mechanisms.

Proficiency in Network Security, including secure network design, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and segmentation strategies.

Solid grounding in Information Security, including data protection, encryption, identity and access management, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent are highly beneficial.

Experience designing and managing security for cloud and hybrid environments, and familiarity with security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven experience in a senior or lead security architecture role, preferably in service-oriented or consulting organizations handling sensitive client information.
