Role Description The Senior Cloud Security Manager will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cloud security controls across Esse India’s technology environment. This full-time, in office role in Abroad involves developing and enforcing security policies, managing security operations, and coordinating risk assessments for cloud-based systems and services. The individual will collaborate with IT, operations, and leadership teams to secure sensitive client data, monitor and respond to security incidents, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities include overseeing security architecture, conducting regular security audits, mentoring junior security staff, and driving security awareness initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Information Security and Cybersecurity, including security frameworks, risk assessment, and incident response.

Hands-on experience with Network Security and cloud security controls (e.g.,



firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, secure configuration and monitoring).

Proficiency in Security Management, including policy development, governance, compliance, and security program leadership.

Understanding of Physical Security principles as they relate to data centers and office environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CEH) are highly beneficial.

Experience securing cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), including identity and access management, encryption, and logging.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally, communicate complex security topics clearly, and lead teams or projects.

Experience in consulting or client-facing environments, particularly in compliance-heavy domains, is an advantage.
